Nikolaus Schreiber was born in Leipzig, in 1990. In 2012 he moved to Berlin, where he began to work professionally on moving images.
After a time working on commercials, music videos, and narrative shorts, he launched his cinematographic studies at the renowned Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, in 2016.
In recent years, Nikolaus has shot a variety of projects of differing genres, and successfully finished his studies at the Film Academy with his feature film debut as Director of Photography. His work has been screened at various national and international film festivals.
Nikolaus' passion is to deliver images that provides complex storytelling in technically interesting ways.
He is currently based in Berlin.
